CAREGIVERS RETREAT
Each year Manresa
Jesuit Retreat House sponsors a relaxing, restful,
restorative weekend
retreat specifically for men and women who are care
givers -
professionals like
nurses and health care workers, or people who give home
care for
members of their own
family or others. This weekend is designed to minister
to you to
allow you to be
"receivers" of care, grace and spiritual nourishment.
Come rest in the silence and solitude of Manresa's
beautiful setting.

"CHRIST OF FAITH" SEMINAR
Our goal is a deeper and more personal knowledge and
understanding
of the relationship
between the Jesus of history and the Christ of faith
for a modern-day
disciple. It will lead us to prayer and to an experience
of the Christ of faith. How do the issues we are dealing
with in the 21st century parallel the issues that
Jesus dealt with in
first century Palestine? As St. Ignatius says:
"The grace we seek in
the Second Week of the Exercises is to know JESUS, to
love him more intensely, and so, to follow him more
closely."
This will be our
personal goal for this six week Lenten seminar.

GOD’S PLAN FOR GROWING UP
These programs provide
an atmosphere of love and learning to discuss the
important topic of growing up and to establish a
foundation for continued communication between parent
and child. Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Auditorium on Friday,
February 19th for fathers (or other adult) and
sons ages 11-14 from 7
to 9 p.m.; February 28th for mothers and daughters ages
9 to 12 from
2 to 4:30 p.m. and
Sunday, March 7th for mothers and daughters ages 13 to
17 from 2 to 4:30 p.m. The auditorium is located at 2609
Tenth St. at Superior Blvd., Wyandotte.
