women's study group program designed especially for
today's woman. Based on Pope John Paul II's writings on
the feminine genius and the dignity of women, ENDOW
strives to empower women to live their faith with
strength and conviction in their family, parish,
community, and world.

SPECIAL MASS WITH THE FILARETS CHOIR
“Special Polish/English/Latin Mass on
Sunday, January 30th at 2 pm, at St. Louis the King
Parish. The Filarets Choirs will sing during the Mass
and for 30 minutes afterwards, featuring Polish &

PROTECTING GOD’S CHILDREN WORKSHOP
Saturday, January 22nd at Blessed
Sacrament Cathedral. 10 am - 1 pm (light refreshments
served). You must pre-register.
Volunteers please note: Workshop
participation is required for all paid staff and every
volunteer who works with children, the elderly, or
disabled on a one time or regular basis. Participants
must register online at

This is a one-time workshop. If you have previously
taken a PGC workshop, you do not need to repeat it. If
you have previously taken a Called to Serve Workshop and
have since completed high school, you need to attend a

CARE OF THE SOUL'S ALL FAITHS FESTIVAL
Sacred Heart's Care of the Soul All
Faiths Festival hosts a book review of "Benedict XVI
Light of the World: The Pope, the Church, and Signs of
the Times," 10:30 - 11:15 am, Monday, January 17th, in
the Fraser Public Library, 16330 Fourteen Mile Road, in
Fraser.
Leading the review is Fr. Lawrence M.
Ventline.
Also, in the same place, following the
book review, is a clergy study day, " A Dr. Martin
Luther King, Jr. Day Special - Reciprocity, Islam, and
the Church: Covenant - Foundational to Dialog," from 12
- 2 pm with a panel & responders.
An optional lunch is at nearby Charro's
Mexican Restauarant. Clergy of the Children of Abraham
will address the topic. All are welcome, especially
clergy, staff and divinity students. Reservations are

EVANGELIZATION SERIES “Where the
Rubber Meets the Road”
Practical Strategies for Everyday
Evangelization (now in its 6th year!) will be focusing
on “hands-on learning” for Evangelization. There’ll be
Role Playing; Discussions on Concrete Situations &
Family Evangelization.
Each presentation is “stand-alone” and

ST. HYACINTH RAFFLE
Lottery raffle tickets are available from
the Banana Festival. Drawing will be in February &
winners are determined by the Daily 3-digit MI Lottery
number. Raffle tickets $5.00 each & you have 16 chances
to win.
A $50 prize will be awarded Monday
through Friday, (February 1 – February 18, 2011) to
whoever matches the 3- digit number drawn for that day.
A $250 prize will be awarded for the winning numbers on
the last Friday in February 2011. All money generated

FIRST SACRED HEART WORLD CONGRESS IN
PARAY LE MONIAL, FRANCE
Catholics around the globe are being
offered the opportunity to find a new sense of hope and
to deepen their relationships with Jesus through
devotion to His Sacred Heart at the First Sacred Heart
World Congress to be held October 6-11, 2011 in Paray-le-
Monial, France.
Congress speakers will include newly
named Cardinal Raymond Burke, Prefect of the Apostolic
Signatura, the Vatican’s highest canonical court; EWTN
host and author Fr. Mitch Pacwa, S.J.; Timothy
O’Donnell, S.T.D., President of Christendom College; Dr.
Carmina Chapp, theologian and recent Director of
Religious Studies at St. Charles Borromeo Seminary, and
Danny Abramowitz, retired NFL player and co-host of
EWTN’s Crossing the Goal.

Congress will include daily admission to Congress
